Figure Skating

This program is for skaters that would like to improve on their skills by purchasing figure skating ice for practice. All coaches fees for private lessons will be handled between the skater and coach separately. If you would like assistance in connecting with a coach please contact the skating director.

Sessions are offered on Monday & Wednesday afternoons, with the option of double enrolling for a discounted price. See registration links below:

Professional Ice Skater

We are excited to inform you about our Learn to Compete program. You will find session & competition dates below. Learn to compete gives skaters an opportunity to show off their ability from the Beginner level through the Free Skate USA levels.

 

LTS Compete team offers the following:

  • 8 individualized 15 minute lessons

  • Ice time is included (8 hours)

  • Show fees included.

  • Music edit included.

  • A fully choreographed routine.

  • Fun, excitement, and meet new friends!

  • Must have a current LTS Membership connected to Fraser Hockeyland.

Skaters of LTC will be coached by our competitive USA coaches and will have the opportunity to experience different methods of perfecting specific movement needed to perform in a fun recreational and competitive environment.

 

Learn to Compete Winter Semester 2025

This program is a fantastic way to introduce the team sport of synchronized skating to anyone participating in group lessons. Block, circle, line, wheel and intersection are the five elements, and each are performed with prescribed handholds. As skaters advance through the various levels, they will learn how to transition properly between elements using multiple holds. Skaters must be passed Snowplow Sam 2 or Basic 1 to participate.
