We’re thrilled to share that Motor City Edge Skating School is now the ultimate destination for all things Figure Skating at Big Boy Arena! Under the dynamic leadership of Director Lauren Zerilli, who brings a wealth of experience, we have an exciting roadmap to elevate our program's participants from Learn to Skate all the way to competition level. Get ready for a fantastic journey as MCE paves the way for aspiring figure skaters to achieve their dreams of success!
Learn to Figure Skate is the introduction to all things figure skating. LTFS will introduce skaters to the fundamentals of jumps, spins and footwork. Skaters will be introduced to private instruction as well as free-skate time for practice, all while being guided towards improvement with plans on and off the ice.​

Sessions are offered on Mondays and Wednesdays. Registration includes 30 minutes of ice time with a 15 minute private lesson included.

Motor City Edge Fall Figure Skating Ice is now open for registration!

This program is a fantastic way to introduce the team sport of synchronized skating to anyone participating in group lessons. Block, circle, line, wheel and intersection are the five elements, and each are performed with prescribed handholds. As skaters advance through the various levels, they will learn how to transition properly between elements using multiple holds. Skaters must be passed Snowplow Sam 2 or Basic 1 to participate. ​
